Dear Sirs,
It wasn't much of a surprise to read in my Sunday
newspaper that the Fireball 2001 had been selected by a nationally syndicated
writer as the best solar collector that he could find. After much research
on the Internet, I had already come to an identical conclusion and purchased
same without even seeing the actual product.
The very detailed website made it quite clear that this company knew what it was doing and had created a product that could be installed by one elderly person, myself. I found the installation directions very easy to follow. One gets the impression that they had thought of every little detail or question that could ever be asked. There were even extra screws for the occasional one that fell. I did think, that for me to do it in one afternoon was somewhat of a stretch, so in order to enjoy the assembly, I worked an hour or more over several days.
This past summer, Massachusetts not only continued to have some of the highest electricity costs in the nation but it also suffered one of its hottest summers in history. With that first usage of solar hot water from my tap, I had the wonderful feeling that two problems had been turned into opportunities. It is now October, several months have past and I continue to save an average of $65. monthly in electrical costs. With the state's solar energy tax credit, the system may pay for itself within 3 years.
Recommending this product to fellow Americans who would like to keep their hard earned money in their pockets is similar to asking them to do themselves a favor. My delay of nearly a year was money lost. It's a company that merits our encouragement. The costs are reasonable, the product is of good quality and the results are impressive.
Yours truly,
Joseph Tardif
