SYSTEMS 3 and 5

These Skyline systems distinguish themselves among all other solar water heaters by being the most complete and easiest to install in the World. They qualify for the Federal 30% Tax Credit and all State and Utility Rebates. Every part, including a 50 foot roll of copper tubing, is included in the solar loop. The systems include a Premium Solar Electric PV-powered pump as well as a tempering valve and temperature gauges standard.

Skyline collectors have passed the Solar Rating and Certification Corporation (SRCC) OG-100 Collector rating. Skyline Open Loop Systems 3 and Closed Loop System 5 have passed the SRCC OG-300 and FSEC system rating tests. You will find them on the SRCC Website under “Ratings” listed under our founding company’s name, ACR Solar International Corp.:

If you are in an area that has no freezing conditions, choose: No Freeze 12V System 3 If your area experiences very occasional light freeze conditions, choose: Light Freeze 12V System 3 with freeze valve and recirculation freeze protection. If your area has freeze conditions, choose:Hard Freeze 12V System 5 with Rheem / Rudd heat exchanger tanks.

SRCC’s certification program operating guidelines, test methods and minimum standards, and rating methodologies require the performance of nationally accepted equipment tests on solar equipment by independent laboratories which are accredited by SRCC. The test results and product data are evaluated by SRCC to determine the product’s compliance with the minimum standards for certification and to calculate the performance ratings. Equipment which has been certified and rated by SRCC is required to bear the SRCC certification label which shows the performance rating for that product.

In addition, each certified product is published by SRCC in a directory. Each product’s directory listing contains information on the product’s material and specifications as well as the certified thermal performance rating
