There are two basic SolarRoofs.com Skyline® Solar Collector models, the

10-01 and the 20-01. The main difference between the models is length and weight. The 10-01 is 6 feet long by 20 inches wide and weighs a mere 19 pounds. The 20-01 is 12 feet long by 20 inches wide and weighs only 38 pounds.

Al designed the collector using high performance, all copper, Thermafin™ absorbers with the revolutionary Crystal Clear coating. Crystal Clear is environmentally benign and boasts an emissivity of approximately 0.10 and absorptivity of approximately 0.95 !!! Al chose ultra light Solar Grade Polycarbonate Structural Sheet for the collector glazing because it is virtually unbreakable, energy efficient and guaranteed weather-resistant. The glazing comes with a 10 year non-prorated warranty, is serviceable for over 20 years and is easy and low cost to replace. With one easy, low cost glazing replacement, Skyline® collectors are serviceable for 40 years or more. 

Skyline® collectors have passed the Solar Rating and Certification Corporation (SRCC) OG100 and Florida Solar Energy Center Collector rating tests. You will find them on the SRCC Website under “Ratings” listed under our founding company’s name, ACR Solar International Corp.
