SOLAR TO BECOME STANDARD FEATURE FOR THREE UPSCALE ARIZONA HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS

June 2, 2008 - Based on press release issued by American Solar Electric at www.americanpv.com

Central Arizona homebuyers seeking luxury homes can expect solar electric power to be a standard feature in at least three developments

thanks to a partnership between Kyocera Solar Inc, Zacher Homes and

American Solar Electric. The three upscale Phoenix area developments are Maryland Lofts, Uptown 802 and The Brownstones on Marlette. The name of the project for all three developments sharing similar designs is "The City Series." The project is expected to be completed by October 2008.

The homes range from 1,700 to 3,300 square feet. They will feature solar electric systems with 205 watt modules manufactured by Kyocera. Each system will produce an estimated 3,500 kilowatt hours annually. These solar systems will be designed and installed by American Solar Electric, a custom solar designer based in Scottsdale. Other green features for The City Series include concrete block construction, efficient installation, natural gas heating and dual-pane windows.
